Euromap Language Technologies is an EC funded initiative, which completed its work at the end of April 2003. This site contains all information gathered by the UK partner about Human Language Technologies (HLT): explore this site and find out how we can help you take full advantage of ‘HLT’ solutions in the UK.

HLT is the broad-based term for technologies that enable communications between humans and computers. This includes all the technological advances that we know are ‘out there’ and that we’re beginning to take advantage of: telephone speech recognition systems, intelligent search engines, online translation services and electronic dictionaries, to name only the most obvious.

HLT is a big growth area, but much of the technology goes unseen, so businesses are unaware of how they might benefit from new products and services. Euromap Language Technologies will take you behind the scenes and show you existing technologies and enable your requirements to actively shape the future.
