LCM12: Corpora and Language Teaching Over recent years, language teachers have started to explore how they can use the vibrancy of the living language, as accessed through language corpora, in their lessons. In this module we explore how corpora and other electronic resources can be used to enhance language learning and teaching. It looks at the pedagogical issues surrounding data-driven learning and makes links between the design of electronic resources and practical teaching applications. Students will discover and appraise what has been done to date, analyse the role of electronic resources in the classroom, and develop their own language-learning materials. Content
